I am a graduate student living currently living in Washington DC.  Graphic art has always been a hobby of mine, and it was a skill that I honed during my time working as a research associate in a neuroscience lab in Colorado, my home state.  I believe that art has a wonderful capacity to make scientific knowledge accessible and to convey complicated concepts.
